Itinerary

Day 1

  • Spice Plantation Tour
  • See Water Falls
  • Leisure at Resort

Arrive in Cochin and meet your driver at the airport or railway station.
Drive to Munnar (around 3.30 hrs drive), a picturesque hill station known for its tea gardens and serene landscapes.

Enroute see water falls, spice plantations etc.

Check-in at your resort in Munnar.
Rest of the day is at leisure. You can explore the facilities offered by the resort.

Optional Activities available at Munnar : Kathakalai Dance / Kalaripayattu show (every day evening shows), Ayurveda Massage, Jeep Safari, Trekking etc.

 

Day 2

  • See Nilgiri Tahr
  • Tea Museum
  • Sight seeing

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the resort.

Visit Eravikulam National Park to see Nilgiri Tahr

Visit the Tea Museum to learn about tea processing and history.

Visit the Mattupetty Dam, known for its scenic beauty and boating options.
Explore the Echo Point where you can hear your voice echo.
Return to your resort for a cozy evening and overnight stay.

Day 3

  • Boating at Lake Periyar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel.
Drive to Thekkady (around 3 hrs), a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake (if not interested for more activities, can do tomorrow).
Check into your hotel in Thekkady.

Evening is free for leisure or optional activities like a spice plantation tour or Kathakali / Kalarippayattu performance.

Day 4

  • Free for Optional activities inside the sanctuary

Full day free for Optional activities like Bamboo rafting, Trekking, hiking, Jeep safari etc…

Day 5

  • Cruise and Overnight stay in a private Houseboat

After breakfast, check out from your Thekkady hotel by around 8 – 8.30 am.

Drive to Alleppey (around 4 – 4.30 hrs drive), known for its backwaters.

Upon arrival, check-in to a traditional Kerala houseboat.

Enjoy a backwater cruise through the serene and scenic backwaters of Alleppey.

Experience the local cuisine prepared by the houseboat chef.

Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 6

  • Visit Alleppey and Marari Beaches

After breakfast from the houseboat, check out by 9 am.

Drive back to Cochin (2 hrs drive).

If interested, enroute see Alleppey and Marari Beaches

Cochin sight seeing –  Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, St Francis Church, Fort Kochi beach, Chinese fishing nets, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Shopping at Mattanchery

Later drop at airport (2 hrs)
